Welcome to Brookhaven Kennels

Brookhaven Kennels originally started in Ohio over 30 years ago, from a love of hunting and hunting with bird dogs.

The move to Montana came after having a very successful boarding and training facility in Ohio, to going one step more and doing what you enjoy so much, to being able to train bird dogs the old fashion way, on wild birds. Very few places offer the ability to do that anymore. Yet we are most fortunate as we have pheasant, Hungarian partridge, sharp tail and sage grouse, plus all the mountain grouse in our training areas.

We are working very closely with some of the best breeders of Llewellin Setters and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in the world.

We will be offering a few times a year totally trained Llewellin Setters hunting companions. Brookhaven Kennels training facilities will be taking other hunting dogs for training at very limited numbers. It is our belief, you cannot train great hunting companions without giving them lots of unlimited time and love.
